Growth through Nutrition Learning Event

Capacity building is an integral part of the Growth through Nutrition learning agenda strategy. Learning events serve as an opportunity to disseminate research findings as well as build capacity around research and learning among the research and learning communities in Ethiopia. Tufts hosted a half-day learning event on Dec 14 at the Capital Hotel.  During this event, two recent Ph.D. graduates sponsored by USAID ENGINE presented their dissertation topics:

Tufts University hosted its third Learning event on July 20th. Dr Shibani Ghosh, Associate Director at Tufts’ Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy presented her research on Mycotoxins and Linear growth retardation and Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation in Pregnancy and Birth outcomes. The event aimed to raise awareness, enhance capacity and promote dissemination for learning and knowledge among multi-sectoral nutrition projects in Ethiopia.
