Welcome to the first blog post for the Feed the Future Ethiopia Growth through Nutrition Activity! This blog will be a critical input in the learning and knowledge management strategy for this project, and will serve as a tool to share learning and experiences over the life of the project.
Given the increasing focus on using evidence for programing and policy by donors, government, and program implementers alike, learning, research and knowledge management will continue to be areas of attention and interest. The Learning Agenda Strategy for Growth through Nutrition seeks to integrate learning and research across all aspects of program activities and to create a culture that supports communication and collaboration around learning. Sharing research findings, project successes, best practices, failures and lessons learned is a vital part of ensuring that we can make improvements in the design and implementation of policy and programing in the Nutrition, Agriculture and WASH sectors.
Future blog topics will include topics around generating evidence, research design and implementation, success stories and lessons learned, capacity building, knowledge management best practices and many more. We will also invite guest posts from experts and stakeholders that can contribute to advancing knowledge and sharing experience around multi-sectoral policy and programs.
We welcome feedback, and if you have any requests or recommendations for future blog topics, please contact Yared Lemma at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for reading!
