2nd Research and Learning Project Working Group Workshop

Growth through Nutrition organized a Second Research & Learning Working Group Workshop that brought together various nutrition sensitive and specific program implementers to share learning. The Workshop featured a panel discussion on “Bridging the Gap between Researchers and Policy Makers” with panelists representing the various sectors of academia, civil society, research institutions and international donors.

SBCC Strategy Development Workshop

Growth Through Nutrition’s research into adolescent and maternal nutrition behaviors and determinants was showcased during a three-day workshop held from May 2-4, 2018 at the Ambassador Hotel in Addis Ababa. The workshop was held to disseminate these research findings and further develop the Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) strategy for the project. The SBCC strategy consequently conceived would be designed to help improve nutrition outcomes for children, adolescent girls and pregnant and lactating women.

Understanding and Shaping the WASH Market in Ethiopia: PSI Workshop

This past spring, PSI organized a half-day workshop aimed at introducing stakeholders to the WASH market development process, disseminating major findings of the market landscape assessment and consumer insight studies, as well as soliciting feedback on the draft marketing and communication strategy developed from the research.

USAID Growth through Nutrition Learning Agenda Validation Workshop and Learning Event

Tufts developed a draft project learning agenda strategy following a consultative process with Save the Children International (SCI), implementing partners, and our stakeholders to ensure the strategy was inclusive, integrative and responsive to the needs and challenges of the country, the project, and the local research community. A workshop was organized to validate the strategy on June 27, 2017, at the ILRI campus in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Learning Agenda Design Workshop brought together members of the research and learning community including project partners, research institutions, government ministries, private organizations, civil society organizations and development partners, to seek vital input into the development of a learning agenda strategy that is inclusive, integrative, and responsive to the needs and challenges of the country, the project, and the local research community.
