Growth Through Nutrition’s research into adolescent and maternal nutrition behaviors and determinants was showcased during a three-day workshop held from May 2-4, 2018 at the Ambassador Hotel in Addis Ababa. The workshop was held to disseminate these research findings and further develop the Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) strategy for the project. The SBCC strategy consequently conceived would be designed to help improve nutrition outcomes for children, adolescent girls and pregnant and lactating women. The meeting created a forum for experts from across Ethiopia; including Amhara, Tigray, SNNP and Oromia regions as well as experts from FMOH, Oromia RHB and various local and international NGOs including UNICEF, to give their recommendations on designing an effective SBCC strategy for the project going forward.
